Laan was born in Buenos Aires in 1927. Along with her husband Gyula
Kosice, she was one of the signers of the MADI Manifesto. She participated
in the collecctive MADI expositions in the 1940's and 1950's and contributed
poetry and stories as well as art to Arte MADI. She also collaborated
in its publication.
