Mitsouko
Mori was born in Japan in 1944 and received diplomas from the National
University of Fine Art in Tokyo. Later she studied in Paris. Since 1969
she has had individual exhibitions in galleries in Japan, Holland, France
and Germany. She was part of the MADI show at the Reina Sofia (Madrid's
Museum of Modern Art) in 1997. She resides in Paris.
In the fall of 2004 she was the MADI Museum's Artist-in-Residence, and created works that are now on display in the museum, as well as in the museum shop. She created a large 3 part wall mural specifically for the Museum's opening in 2003.
