Volf
Roitman was born in Uruguay, studied architecture in Buenos Aires, and
departed to join Arden Quin in Paris in 1950 and helped found the MADI
group there. In 1958 he moved to New York City where he painted, wrote
poetry and had his plays produced. At the end of 1960 he returned to
Paris.
