Alonso de Alba was born in Torreón, Mexico in 1938. He currently teaches graphic arts at Universidad Iberoamericana in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. He is a follower of masters like Klee, Kandinsky, Kelly and Stella and a leader of today’s art into the next century.

De Alba produces stunning modern art prints, mostly etchings, with emphasis on forms and colors often using the process of an inkless intaglio print (relief) as a very effective addition. Other processes involving the press creating small, limited editions include aquatints, woodcuts, chine colles and colographs; each de Alba print is in the tradition of the aesthetically well balanced modern print.

He is a member of the Institute of Culture Council of Torreón and the “El Chanate” Engraving Atelier. Collections and exhibitions include de Alba in most Latin American Counties, France, Canada and the United States.

This will be his second exhibit at the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art.

Ricardo Paniagua was born in Dallas, Texas in 1981.  He studied intensely with several M.F.A. accredited masters and is primarily self-taught as are many modern names in the contemporary art world.  Mr. Paniagua currently lives and works in Dallas, TX.  

Mr. Paniagua's work has been recognized by important collectors as very rare work and of the highest caliber.  He is an emerging/mid-career artist who has been professionally painting for nearly a decade.  Recently he has endeavored into the world of large-scale outdoor public mural work, which extends itself as a way to express his larger than life concepts.
