Anghinelli was born in Milan in 1939 and resided in Paris in the 1960’s. He later returned to Milan where he worked many years in professional architectural photography, closely attentive to geometric space and elements. Due to Frangi’s influence he joined the MADI movement in 1955.

In 1968 Anghinelli accomplished work on Tutankhamun for the National Museum of Egypt and worked in Venice for Peggy Guggenheim. His art is represented in the Arte Structura in Milan and the Reina Sophia in Madrid.
