Roger
Bensasson

Bensasson was born in Paris in 1931 and now lives in Bagnolet. From 1986 to 1996, he has taught at l’Academie Goetz-Daderian.

“I abandoned canvas for cardboard. The choice of this support enriches possibilities through the interplay of cutting, folding and layering. “Almost similar,” and yet different—no two pieces the same. Born from the development of a process, this is the concept.

Make more with less:

2 colors, red and white or black and white
1 painted sign, recessed or in relief
the combination of colors and transpositions of the sign offer innumerable series.” ( Bensasson 2007)
