“My art is a personal artistic journey that begins with an observation of nature and ends in an abstraction.”
Orna Feinstein was born in 1954 in Jerusalem, Israel. She moved to Houston, Texas, in 1984 after studying chemistry at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2002, she earned a diploma from the Glassell School of Art at The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. Her recent solo shows include:Anya Tish Gallery in Houston, Texas, Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts in New Castle, PA, and The McCormick Gallery in Midland, Texas.

MADI is a great artistic adventure, and perhaps, the only existing movement which can justify half a century of existence. MADI is more than an avant-garde movement; it has an underlying wave with several and differing offspring. It is the slow-paced growth of a tectonic plate in the history of art. Indeed, since art and environment are perveived as the fusion of two cultural phenomena, the progression and expression of both of these blend in everyday life.
