Francesco
Varlotta

Although Varlotta has lived and worked in Roma, Lido, since 1958. He was born in 1938 in Rionero Vulture, Italia. In Roma he attended sculpture courses given by Montelone Guerris and Fazzini at the Acadamia di Belle Arti of Roma. Periods of incorporating historic symbols, figurative drawing, and NeoCubism into his art preceded the 1980’s, when he moved on to geometry, which since 2000, has led him to going beyond Euclid in expressing the interaction and rhythms of the composition. Varlotta is now a well-recognized geometric artist, and his work has been exhibited throughout many Italian museums.
