Carmen has been a member of the “MADI” group since 2015. The realization of this work has placed the attention on the mutability of the form based on the movement that is impressed on it.
In this case, rotating overlapping flat shapes of equal size gives a new vision of the form in which the movement impressed on it is shown, making it almost as dynamic as its works often are. Carmen has exhibited her art in Italy, Germany, and now, here in Dallas.
‘My artistic pursuits started 25 years ago, however I chose to not exhibit my art until 2013. The positive audience feedback I experienced during my first independent exhibitions, and as part of the MADI Movement since 2015, encouraged me to pursue my artistic expressions.’
